THRILL OF THE GRILL, the Danforth BIA’s signature marketing event will be held on the Prince Edward Viaduct Bridge on the evening of Saturday July 4th.

The Bridge is the Gateway to the shops, restaurants and services of the Danforth BIA. In excess of 10,000 people are expected on the Bridge that night to celebrate the flipping of the switch to light up the Luminous Veil and welcome the Pan Am torch.

This is a great opportunity to showcase your businesses.

Thrill will be occupying the east end of the Bridge to Broadview.

With your participation, we are hoping to extend the festivities further with a welcoming streetscape and environment to lure people off of the Bridge and into your businesses.

Festivities will begin at 6:30 pm and culminate with the lighting of the Bridge at approximately 10:00 p.m.

We will be lining the sidewalks with illuminated helium balloons and are planning other crowd pleasing activities such as acoustic street music. We are also taking out a sidewalk permit allowing businesses to display on the street.

Please consider staying open late that night … offer special deals for that evening or subsequent dates … consider decorating your window by installing bright Pan Am related displays and enhanced lighting.
